Calvin and Hobbes

Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide success. Introduced in 1985 the strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel, Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

The strip is vaguely set in the contemporary Eastern United States, on the outskirts of suburbia. The broad themes of the strip deal with Calvin's flights of fantasy, his friendship with Hobbes, his relationships and interactions with his parents, classmates, teachers, and other members of society, his unique views on a diverse range of political issues and his misadventures.

The final strip (3,160th) of Calvin and Hobbes was published Sunday, December 31, 1995. A few of the noted ones are

* Indespensable Calvin and Hobbes
* Calvin and Hobbes 10th anniversary
* The complete Calvin and Hobbes
