Dale Carnegie was well known for his extra ordinary work in the areas of public speaking and personality development. He became famous by showing others how to become successful. Infact, his teachings were so famous that there is a Dale Carnegie Course, a program for businesses based on Carnegie's teachings used worldwide (approx 75 countries). Two of his most famous maxims are, "Believe that you will succeed, and you will," and "Learn to love, respect and enjoy other people.".
He was the author of "How to Win Friends and Influence People", first published in 1936. The book has sold more than 10 million copies and has been translated into many languages.
