Star wars is the tale of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and the fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker. It is an epic tragedy of the corruption of a young man in love into darkness, the rise of evil, and the power of good triumphing in the end.
The events depicted in Star Wars take place in a fictional galaxy. There are many planets in the galaxy which are members of a Galactic Republic, later reorganized as the Galactic Empire. Space travel is common, especially between these galaxies. Many species of alien creatures inhabit these planets. Star Wars features elements such as (Jedi) knights, witches, and princesses that are related to archetypes of the fantasy genre. Robotic droids are also commonplace and are generally built to serve their owners.
